In 1966 my friend John Ridley and I went to Sweden for a few months
to get away and see the world.
I met up in Stockholm with some friends from my home town of
Basingstoke who were a band called
Evil Eyes and I stayed with them and did what I suppose was my first
ever work as a roadie.
