When I first joined Quo in 1968 I was driving a small Ford Transit van with the equipment packed very tightly into the back. There was only one way this would all fit in and so I wrote down this list in the order it was put into the van. Any other way and it just would not fit. This list on this piece of paper was stuck up inside the door until we got a bigger vvan and Malcolm Kingsnorth had joined as sound engineer/roadie and I was eventually promoted to Tour Manager driving the car and band.
